Botho/Ubuntu

The inspiration for this series came from African art and idealism, specifically the Seven Cardinal Values of the Netchar Ma'at culture and the concept of Botho/Ubuntu.

I am continually drawn to the exploration of the inter-connectedness of us all as one people. Ubuntu is the ideal of being human: "I am a person through other persons."

We need to remember we are one tribe, dependent upon each other. Now more than ever.
